Shopping at the Nashville Flea Market

There are many things in my life that I enjoy. I happen to spend a lot of my ‘free’ time shopping for FUTURE and current clients. Some of my most favorite pieces come from Flea Markets and vintage antique stores. I happen to believe that all old things can become new again if you place them in a space that makes them sing.A good pair of high heeled pumps can brighten my day, and I believe a perfectly sprinkled cupcake can save a life.

Dorothy Draper once said, “It is just as disastrous to have the wrong accessories in your room as it is to wear sport shoes with an evening dress.” Its one of my favorite mottos of design to live by. Everything you put into a room should enhance the beauty of it, not distract it.

I am found often smiling, and enjoying the simplest of pleasures: family and friends, a good book to read, or a cup of lavender tea with honey, with one of my cats Chaplin, Cal or Charlie cuddled up on my lap.
